Summer Where Are You?!?!?!?!

I have been really sick for the past two weeks. I've had pretty much every possible symptom: cough, fever, runny noes, pink eye, ear hurting, headaches, shivers, sensitive-to-the-touch skin, sneezing, sore throat, etc. I am ready for school to be done and summer to get here! Anyway, I want to start posting recipes on here. We will see how this goes. Well, that's all for now. Love y'all!!!

Easter is coming up! I am going to start putting up Easter themed quotes.

SOOOOOOO C-C-COLD!!!!

It is a lovely temperature of 4 degrees right now. It is almost 10 o'clock at night, so that might have something to do with the temperature. It has been so cold the past 2 days. I love the cold, but I have to admit that I have spring fever.
Who else here has spring fever? I bet many of you do. I am ready for school to be done and summer to begin. Just wishful thinking. ~sigh~
Anyway, I have 9 more weeks (or something like that) of school, so WHOO HOOO! This school year has actually passed by really, really quickly. I cannot even believe that I am less than one semester away from the end of this school year. Gosh, time passes by so fast which is probably a good thing. I think that I would go crazy if school stretched on forever and ever! Scratch that, I would go crazy! My last word of advise to all of you that cannot wait until school is over is "Don't go crazy. Hang on for a little longer and it will be over before you know it. Word of the wise, do not count down the days until school lets out because, trust me, it just slows the time down even more!" Love y'all!!!

1000 PAGE VIEWS!!!!!!

Don't know why I am so excited about this, but...1000 page views!!!!!!!!! Love y'all!!!

999 page views!

I have had 999 page views. I need one more page view and I will officially have 1,000!!! Then we can
PARTY!!!
Anyway, Valentine's Day (aka singles awareness day) is in less than 2 weeks away! Do you have someone special this Valentine's Day? This is always the day that I think:
Whatever!
I'm just gonna:
If you do, on the other hand, have someone special that you are going to spend the day with then AWESOME!
Back to what I was saying, I am single and personally happy to be so at this moment in time. Do I sometimes wish that I had a boyfriend? Yes, I have thought many times, but I don't think that I am ready for a relationship. I honestly don't have a lot of time for a boyfriend. My goal right now is graduating from high school, getting a degree, and a job. Anyway...
That's all I have for now! Love y'all!!!

Blog Challenged Failed

Ok, my blog challenge failed. Lesson learned! I am going to go back to posting whenever I have anything useful to say. For now, I am going to write a single sentence describing my day today.
Waking up, falling back to sleep, waking up again, working out, can't breathe because of cold, coughing, sniffling, eating breakfast, doing school, taking a shower, getting ready, sniffling, doing school, having lunch, sniffling again, doing more school, writing a parody, contemplating story ideas, being bored, memorizing lines for a play, sniffling, clearing throat, listening to music, making dinner while quoting Shakespearean lines for my play, doing school, practicing throwing a sabre, coughing, eating dinner, watching I Love Lucy, listening to music, doing chore, doing school, talking to my parents, waiting for the laundry to finish so I can start a load, sniffling, cutting my toe nails (what? it may not be pleasant, but it has to be done), feeling queasy and really sick, wishing I wasn't going to school tomorrow, wishing to stay home, coughing, shivering, getting in bed, writing this boring run-on sentence, sniffling, upset stomach, ugh, the end.
Love y'all!!!

Me right now:
I'm also like:
And their like:
And I'm like:

But I still have school tomorrow:
And that is my "quote of the day."

Blog Challenge #12: Beth's (Rachel's) Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I have a potluck that I am going to for Winter Guard tomorrow, so I am bringing Beth's (Rachel's) Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. I am giving these cookies a 4 out of 5 stars. They were a little bit to cinnamon-y. I would half the cinnamon if I ever make them again. Here's the recipe:

Beth's (Rachel's) Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Servings: 3 dozen

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening (Hint: you can substitute this for 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup normal shortening)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (Hint: I would half this unless you like a lot of spice and cinnamon)
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, cream the butter, butter flavored shortening, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt; stir until the sugar mixture. Stir in the oats and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cooking sheets.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until light and golden. Do not overbake. Let them cool for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheets to cool completely. Store in airtight container. Make sure you get some, because they don't last long!

Have fun making these! Love y'all!!!

Blog Challenge #11: IDK

I am behind again. I will have to post like 3 extra posts. Ugh! Anyway, not much going on here. It's been a crazy week. I've been super busy (as you can tell because I haven't been posting) with school and I went to spend the night at my cousin Hannah's house. I had a Spanish test today and I have an Earth Science test next week. So much to do and so little time. That't s all I have for now. Love y'all!!!

Blog Challenge #10: It's soooooo cold!!!

'Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
Since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow'

This would be true if I didn't have somewhere that I needed to be. I have guard tonight which means that I can't stay in my warm blanket all day. It is going to be a lovely high of 25 degrees today. At my house it's really foggy and cold. Brrrr!!! I feel like this:
And I totally am doing this with my blanket haha:
To some people it's only like this outside to today:
But to me it's more like this:
I don't think so
So, stay warm and safe today! Love y'all!!!

Blog Challenge #9: Last Minute Post

It will be midnight in 6 min. and I am determined to post this before then. I'm so tired because it's late. I feel like this right now:
It's too much!!! I need to go to bed!
Anyway, today has been pretty good. The roads were really icy on the way home from youth group, but we arrived home in one piece which is good.
Well, it's 11:58, so I am going to end this post now. Love y'all!!!
